📜 History of National Crime and Intelligence Analyst Appreciation Day

The Florida Crime and Intelligence Analyst Association established National Crime and Intelligence Analyst Appreciation Day in 2021 (F.C.I.A.A.). It was founded in 1995 as a non-profit organization to help intelligence analysts and investigators advance their careers. It has more than 200 members across the state and has become a key part of intelligence analysis by giving analysts at all levels chances to learn, train, and network.

In late 2019, the FCIAA began developing certification courses for law enforcement analysts. These courses were created to equip their participants with the essential training to improve their analytical abilities and make them more competitive in their respective jobs. The purpose was to establish a group that would bring together police intelligence analysts, crime analysts, and other criminal justice professionals to network, share resources, and provide ongoing education.
