Satoshi Tajiri, who was born and raised in Tokyo in 1965, invented “Pokémon.” He was captivated by insects and collected them from an early age. Tajiri hoped to be an entomologist, but his enthusiasm for video games won out. His adolescence was spent gaming and learning about the media. Captivated by the arcade game “Space Invaders,” Tajiri worked with Nintendo on the puzzle game “Yoshi” in 1991, and he was already planning a new game. This game will later be known as “Pokemon.”

The original title of “Pokémon” was “Capsule Monsters,” but this was altered owing to a copyright violation. Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto was captivated by the concept of “Pokémon,” and it didn’t take long for the idea to be greenlit. Pokémon Red and Green marked the formal start of the Pokémon series.
“Pokémon” was made into a television show in 1997. in Japan’s series The plot revolves around Satoshi, a young kid who, along with his buddy Pikachu, sets out to become the best Pokemon trainer.
