📜 History of National Ranch Water Day
Ranch Water is a drink that is found especially in Mexico and is one of the most popular beverages in the area due to the usage of regional ingredients. Trust us when we say that a trip to Mexico isn’t complete unless you try the drink!
Ranch Water, like every other drink, began as an experiment. Kevin Williamson, the award-winning proprietor of Ranch 616 in Austin, invented the cocktail nearly 15 years ago. He kept adding mineral water to his margarita as he drank it at first. However, when he began to love the flavor, he considered adding other components, such as fresh lime juice and a dash of orange cordial, and voilà! Ranch Water, Texas’s most famous drink, was born.
National Ranch Water Day, however, was not established until February 2021 by RANCH2O Spirits. The company made a special day to honor the great drink and promote the canned version of the cocktail, which is now made in large quantities.
