When “Robinson Crusoe” was eventually published, it was a huge success. In the novel, Robinson gets shipwrecked on an island and begins to spend days in desolation as a result of his solitude. He begins conversing with animals in the absence of humans. During these trying times, he looks to God for direction. His ideas on religion shift, and God becomes his major source of hope. This is how he has managed to survive on the island for the past 28 years. While the novel’s premise may appear basic, it is regarded as one of the finest literary novels of all time. It has also inspired numerous other works and has been used to make various films throughout the world. A French film production team created a 13-part series named “The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe” in 1964, and a picture titled “Crusoe” was also released in Hollywood in 1988.
