World Quality Day

World Quality Day for the year 2023 is celebrated/observed on Thursday, November 10th. There are until the next observance.

Every year on the second Thursday of November, World Quality Day is honored. It falls on November 10 this year. The goal of this day is to enhance quality awareness and help individuals and organizations in their efforts to achieve economic success and embrace high-quality standards. The inaugural World Quality Day was held in London, United Kingdom, in 2008. (U.K.). The Chartered Quality Institute chooses the topic of World Quality Day each year (C.Q.I.). “Sustainability: Improving Our Products, People, and Planet” and “Creating Customer Value.” were two earlier themes.

This year, World Quality Day is on November 10th. It is the 2nd Thursday in November; in 2023, it is on Friday.

📜 History of World Quality Day

The C.Q.I.’s purpose includes “improving the ability of organizations to deliver the very best for consumers and stakeholders.” Their aim is to create “a world in which organizations of all types and sizes thrive by providing outstanding value for customers, stakeholders, and society.” The inaugural World Quality Day conference was held on November 13, 2008, at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in London.

Quality management is a relatively new concept that is separated into four components: quality planning, quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement, collectively known as total quality management (T.Q.M.). It entails, in general, sustaining a certain degree of quality.

When applying to the C.Q.I., it is also critical to provide any necessary training and certifications.

✅ Continuing Professional Development (C.P.D.) objectives
During the application process, CPD and the CQI ask applicants to articulate at least three relevant CPD objectives.

Applicants must additionally complete a self-assessment based on the Competency Framework of the C.Q.I.
