📜 History of World Teachers’ Day

UNESCO’s message for 2020: “We acknowledge the crucial need to reiterate the value of the teaching mission with the subject ‘Young Teachers: The Future of the Profession.’ We urge governments to make teaching a first-choice career for young people. Above all, we honor the efforts of committed teachers all around the world who labor every day to make “inclusive and equitable quality education” and the promotion of “lifelong learning opportunities for everyone” a reality in every corner of the globe.

On October 7, the official ceremony will be held at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.

Make teachers feel special
Parents adore the instructors as well! On World Teachers’ Day, demonstrate how much you care. Set up a raffle with gift cards, coffee mugs, and other prizes in collaboration with your local PTA. Before the school day starts, give teachers coffee and donuts or ask parents to put together a potluck breakfast.

A teacher’s job can be difficult, draining, and unpleasant. School administrations should pamper their teachers on World Teachers’ Day.
